The Khatra Customized Tile production process is divided into two main categories: ODM and OEM
1. ODM – Designing and Manufacturing based on Customer Ideas

1.1. Requirement Intake

The customer sends their desired reference images. KHATRA receives and clarifies detailed requirements to ensure feasibility and suggest suitable solutions.

1.2. Proposal & Concept Development

Based on the images/ideas provided by the customer, the factory’s design team will develop concrete tile concepts.
One or more options are then manufactured and sent to Vietnam for the customer to review and approve.

1.3. Sample Approval and Contract Signing

Once the sample is approved, the customer confirms the quantity, signs the contract, and places a 30% deposit of the contract value.

1.4. Production and Shipping

Tiles are produced at the factory strictly according to the approved design. Production and shipping time to Vietnam: 30–45 days

1.5. Delivery and Final Payment

KHATRA notifies the customer upon shipment arrival. The customer inspects the goods and settles the remaining payment. KHATRA proceeds with delivery to the agreed location as specified in the contract.

2. OEM – Manufacturing Based on Client Design

2.1. Requirement Intake

The customer provides the design concept along with specifications for material, size, shape, and desired color. KHATRA reviews and clarifies detailed requirements to ensure feasibility and suggest suitable solutions.

Below is an example of KHATRA producing custom tiles for the Bason District 1 swimming pool project. The client already had the material sample (3D rendering, color, size) and wanted to upgrade it to an R10 – R11 matte slip-resistant surface

Another example is the White Palace Vo Van Kiet project, where the design team was looking for bamboo-fluted tiles to recreate a lush green bamboo forest.

KHATRA initially proposed a convex bamboo tile, which achieved the desired color and surface texture but posed installation difficulties.

Subsequently, the approach shifted to a concave tile profile. Based on the Bat Trang ceramic sample provided by the project designers, KHATRA produced porcelain tiles.

2.2. Proposal & Physical Sample Delivery

• KHATRA receives the sample, coordinates with the factory for benchmarking, and produces trial samples strictly according to the existing design
• Ships samples to Vietnam for customer review and approval.

2.3. Sample Approval and Contract Signing

After the customer approves the sample, order quantities are finalized, the contract is signed, and a 30% order deposit is placed.

2.4. Production and Shipping

Tiles are manufactured at the factory strictly adhering to approved specifications. Production and shipping time to Vietnam: 30–45 days.

KHATRA notifies the client upon shipment arrival. The client inspects the goods and makes the remaining payment. KHATRA carries out delivery to the contracted destination.
